HDM Epi #2's Banded or Not?

I have seen these recently advertised banded and unbanded in the cabinet boxes, is this common due to these coming from different factories?

My cabinet of 25 is from Spain, May 1998 code. I've had these for awhile, obviously, and never thought to check them out until now, I know I know....

I believe prior to 2003, these came unbanded in the cabinet boxes. Post 2003 are all banded.

I beleive it was around April '04 that they started banding cabs and slbs.
