I am in town for a trade show and myself and a couple of guys are heading to one of the locations around 5:30.
Which one should we go to? We are staying downtown at the Westin so I think they are about the same distance away. Are both locations similar?
Thanks!
DE

They're almost equidistant from downtown. The south location is much bigger, has a nicer lounge area and a wider selection of cigars. That'd be my recommendation.

If you want to head up to the North store tonight I would be happy to meet up with you. Just post here or shoot me a PM. Kcben will most likely be there also.

Thanks Bsneed, looks like we are heading to the South store. My rep that works for me here lives in Lee Summit, and has offered to drop us off on his way home. We will just catch a cab for the ride back to the hotel. Looks like I am going to be down here every 8 weeks though, so I'll definitely shoot you a PM next time I am in town.

On another note, we did go to Gates for lunch today. The burnt ends and the ribs where incredible. I thought we knew how to BBQ in TX, but this was on another level.

Sounds good. Definitely let me know the next time you're up this way.

Gates is very good. If you get a chance the next time you're up here, check out Jack Stack, and Oklahoma Joes.

LOL @ Phil

Sneed how come you have not taken me to Gates yet????? :sign: :sign: :sign: :sign:

At the south location now, wow!! What a spot.. You guys are lucky to have a such a great shop!!

Go to the far, back room near the bathrooms. In the corner opposite the bathrooms there is a leather chair. Any member of CP is free to touch the wet spot in that chair.

At jack stacks now.. The crown ribs are hard to beat..

I would advise anyone who goes to Jack Stack take a pack of cigarettes. Not for you to smoke but for your wait staff....the things those girls will do to each other for a cigarette almost made Clint wreck his car!!
