"Hee Haw" Star Buck Owens Passes Away

Yeah, I never missed an episode of HeeHaw when I wasn't deployed. I didn't know of Buck outside the show. RIP, pard.

He was a huge part of the California country music movement, and Dwight Yokum's mentor.

The first 2 record albums I ever bought were "Tiger by the Tail" and Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire."

Buck was ALOT more than just HeeHaw.

I was blown away a few years ago when a friend of mine, my age, said that she had never heard of "Hee Haw". Very, very sad.

RIP, Buck. Bringing back many childhood memories...
