Cloaca Maxima
Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a "newb". I discovered the pure joy of sharing a cigar with friends a few months ago.
Newbs IMHO are folks like me who push, squeeze and tear at the cello trying to get the dam stick out. We believe a cap is something to be twisted off rather than cut. We will promptly burn up half of the foot with our Bic's and puff like the little engine that could! Well, if we are lucky the "old timers" will take us under there wing and teach us to appreciate a cigar from its beginning on a rollers table to "tasting" all it's gifts and shortcomings.
Cigars and everything related to them are seductive, addictive and expensive. What started with a friend inviting me to his club for a smoke has led to my joining the club, leasing a locker, getting a humidor for my desk, buying accessories I need and others I just plain want!
I don't post much, but I do read a lot. I'm a member of CF under this same nick where I spend a great deal of time reading reviews and following threads to learn more about this grand obsession. I look forward to learning from you as well.
PS My macMS sticks are to poke a bit of fun at myself and to remind me that snobs are boring.
