My name is Eric. I was born and raised in northeast Ohio. I started the traditional route of using tobacco. Dipped chew as a teenager, which progressed to cigarettes soon after that with an occasionally drug store dog rocket.

About 6 weeks ago, I discovered the world of cigars (thanks to bhaney) and I am now completely hooked. We were in Las Vegas together on a business trip, and he started me down my path to the dark side.

My only problem right now is that I am not currently independently wealthy enough to afford my habit. I am smoking around 1 or 2 a day and I can not afford to smoke what I truly want to....

So, if anyone has suggestions on a good, cheap, cigar please let me know. Currently I have been feeding my habit with Quorums and Connies.

my suggestion would be sancho panza cigars. best for the money IMO
 
Welcome to CP. You are not the only one here with a tight budget. The guys here are great you can get a lot of advise and create new friendships.
 
Welcome to CP from another newb! Ahh yes, expensive habits . .now you just need to add Golf and Poker and you will have the tri-fecta!!

Howdy! My cheap stick of choice is the Sherpa line by Gurkha, I got a fiver on C-Bid for $5 dollars. At a buck stick you can't beat it.

CBid Good . . . good cigars at a cheap price if you do not get carried away and pay more than retail. Great service, cheap and quick shipping.


CBid Bad . . . very easy to buy and buy and buy and buy :( You may still get great cigars for great prices but after awhile those 5'ers for $5 to $10 adds up quick.

Pace yourself, I rather smoke 1 good instead of 4 bads (if not more).

Suggestion. Newbie Thread sampler,or just great samplers in the buy sale trade!

Just did one for 100 bucks, ended up with 16 sticks (Thanks Eshaw), and most were premiums like Padrons Annies, and Zino,, Cohiba red dots, Fuentes etc. Wonderful Deal!!!!

Expensive is not always better, And Cheaps are not always bad. Samplers, Samplers, Samplers!!!
Carlos Toranos Exodus 1959 around 3$ are awesome!!
