Stop it! That tickles!
Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I have smoked cigars infrequently, up until the last few months. Before recently I hadn't realised just how enjoyable a good smoke can be. Most of the cigars I had previously were paired with an imbalanced combination of alcahol (1997 KY Derby and a box of Maker's Mark cigars comes to mind.)
I never realized how great it was to actually sit and sip a fine bourbon and gently puff on a cigar. I recently needed something to balance out my wife's new pension for purchasing fine wine's, what better than to dive headfirst into the cigar realm.
I have been able to smoke several ISOM's thanks to a friend, and have had several FFOPX's. I am mostly a fan of the milder smokes i.e. the Ashtom Magnums and when cash is tight Caballeros Rothchilds with the Connecticut wrapper (although they are somwhat difficult to find around here.)
Oh well, don't want to bore anyone. Not being allowed to smoke indoors makes it dificult to read/type when the evening and the porch is awaiting.
I will continue reading in hopes to learn and maybe post what little I can to help others out.
Regards,
Dan
