Help for a newb from the other side

Hi, I'm still a newbie to cigar smoking, but am wanting to start pipe smoking betwwen my weekly or monthly cigar. After reading trough the forums there is no thread to help newbies like me. The pipe smoking 101 thread has the basic but no explanation. Was hoping that you kinds bros out them wouldnt mind helping me out.
Also does anyone know how online retailers that ship pipes and tobacco to Asia. Thanks for all the help.
