Looking for Tatauje's. I've read enough to believe you guys know good cigars. I'd like to try some Tatuaje's but don't know of any good deals or sites that are offering them. If you could pick a few of the different varieties, what would they be? What are the different tastes and strengths of the four kinds?

thanks in advance

First I would suggest doing an introduction so we can start getting to know you.

This should have everything you need to know about tats, then just look online for a deal.

Welcome to cp.

Justin

edit:just saw your intro

I bought some on HabanaHouse.com, they are in Austin, Tx. They shipped very quickly and in a humi pouch they also had about the best prices I could find. Hope this helps...

go to dallas and hit En Fuego Tobacco Shop. last time i was there they had every Don Garcia cigar in stock.

Well that link doesn't work, so you might try TowerCigars. They have quite a few. I don't know who has the best prices because I don't like tatuajes... I do like Don Pepins and Vegas Cubanas though. Much better and cheaper IMO!

All great ideas. Either these or drive up to Tulsa and go to Fogue and Bates. Last time I was in there, they had about 6-8 different sizes of the Tatuajes.

I'm a big Tatuaje fan. If I had to pick a few to recommend the first one's would be the Reserva J21 and Reserva SW followed closely by the Cojonu 2003, Regios, and Unicos.

Just did a box split with Rigo for some RC 184's, so looking forward to smoking one of those.

There's a lot to be said about Tatauje, but my favorite quality of them is how they seem to start mellow and finish bold. It' almost like they allow you to "warm up" to the cigar as you're smoking it.

Full of flavor, but delivered with sophistication that leaves you satisfied, but not on the floor.

Brickhouse is steering you in the right direction. I would also add the Noellas or Especiales to that list. The RC184's are amazing cigars hands down and unbelievably complex and easy to smoke for such a large cigar. Let 'em sit as they always seem to come too wet. The Cabiguans(sp) are a "lighter" version of the brown labels and are a damn good smoke in their own right but share some flavor qualities.

I agree with some of the other guys that Al will set you up very well! :)

One of my favorites is the Tat Regios.

Does Al have a website, I was trying to find one but didn't have any luck...

I don't believe so, just look into the hot deals forum, he has a working man special on some Tatuaje P series. These cigars are surprisingly hard to find (atleast in my neck of the woods). PM or calling his number usually works.
