Hey gang

Wow, thanks for the unexpected and warm replies. Very nice place you have here, and very eye-appealing too - Kudos.

I am new to cigars (about 2 weeks) but already "up on the game" or so I think :) I should say I have picked up quite a bit ) . I really went all out and in a short amount of time I figured out a few things.

The first thing I did was buy this nifty humidor
humidor640.jpg

It's suposed to hold 100 but it looks bigger than that to me. I added a digital hygro/temp and a diamond crown humidifier.

I like my smokes mild, long and thin, (I imagine this may change with time).

What I have tried so far (a few of each) in order of preference is:

Davidoff 3000
Macanudo Portofino
Ashton 898 (except for the too delicate wrapper - won't get them again)

Also had but wasn't crazy about CAO's Gold Corona.

In the humidor waiting for me are:
Fonseca Natural 799
AVO Classic No.5 Tubos
Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Exhibicion # 3
Montecristo Yellow # 1
Don Diego Playboy
Don Diego Lonsdale
Griffen 300

On my list to try is:
Dunhill (Samanas)
Hoyo (natural café royal, natural churchill, excaliber nat. banquet)
Partagas (natural humitube, natural #1, series s perfecto)
Zino (natural veritas)
Bolivar (tubos #7)
Helix (cylinder)
Cusano (vintage corona)
Arturo Fuente

Anyway, Any suggestions, comments or otherwise would be greatly appreciated. I tend to jump into things without looking first. I seam to be at it again so if your feeling helpful, don't be shy.

Nice rifle

I have thought about getting a Choate stock, but I'm not sure if I would like the feel of it. Mine have the laminated stock, which I do like the feel of. None of mine have the accutrigger either. A little tinkering usually results in a nice trigger pull. How do you like the accutrigger? and of course, what caliber?

.22-250 Love the accutriger, can't even feel the little safety blade in the trigger (its light as a feather). The trigger (on this gun) could be adjusted down to 28oz (which is where it is set). Very happy with this gun and my own loads. Actually, it's my son's he's a lefty as you probably noticed. Sorry for the detour...

back to Cigars

cheers,
Mike

Cool! I just had the AVO Classic No.5 Awesome. Lasts a full hour, hint of chocolate, mild to the very end.

I had called for your banning before I even welcomed you here. I hereby retract my request that you be banned. This is going to be FUN having you here ;)

My guess is that we'll never see this guy again......

It goes to show that with all the people welcoming this slimeball post PIG comments, that a bunch of folks don't really pay attention to what goes on here.

My guess is that Sheriff Buck got back from the 4th Holiday and added his greeting as a matter of routine. I think he'll be kicking himself when he reads the other posts this clown made.

The others... you're probably right.

I agree with CC that this guy is probably gone for good, though.

His "hey I'm a new guy post" was made June 30th. His inflammatory BS post was made on July 3rd. Some folks replied with a welcome before he'd shown his "true colors".

My guess is he's gone on to troll other forums after the well earned smack down he got here....
