Heellloo, I'm a newbie in it's fullest sense,(Cigars and Forums) I'm getting addicted to cigars now more than ever (don't tell my wife, she thinks I have it under control...hehe)...but of course I don't need to explain it to everyone here. I can't say that I've ever joined a forum, but browsing through this forum for a little over a week, I liked every thing I've read not to mention everything I'm learning about cigars and everthing related to cigars. I look forward to reading many posts and also in getting involved with cigar passes, trading, buying and selling in the future.

By the way, there is no better way of getting through a snow storm (as it's doing now in NJ) than puffing on a tasty cigar along with a small glass of port wine.

Thanks all!!!

Welcome, DreC! Now let me see, driving in the snow.....one hand on the ceegar, one hand holding the port wine and one hand.......hey, wait a minute!! ???

Welcome welcome welcome to the CP family.
Here's how it's worked for this newbie:
I combed through the cigar discussions, made notes.
I sought and bought a few boxes of bargain quality cigars ($1.50 - $2.50 a stick)
Increased my cooler size. Have a few hundred laid down. Total output under $400

Next step is trading and swapping more quality items. Another bigger cooler. Cubans, harvest my bedded bargain sticks starting late 2004. Buy more bargain sticks. Another cooler (label them by year?)

IT NEVER STOPS

Welcome fellow Newbie!! Yeah, stogies do help getting through a good snow storm! :D We are getting hammered good here now in Ct. and it is only just starting! :p They say we will have over 16 inches as it is coming down at about 3 inch and hour and should keep this pace up till mid-afternoon tomorrow. Good thing I picked up all the supplies to get through all this white stuff.

Greetings Newbs! Welcome.

Go check out Newbie Sampler Trade in the Buy sell area, its the way to get a variety of sticks and establish yourself on the board.

Ask as many questions as you need!

Have fun!

The Long Island Herf takes place at Palmer's Cigar Lounge and Bar one Saturday each month. There are typically 20 cigars smokers crom CP and CW who get together for the afternoon. We smoke cigars, drink and BS :)

Here are some pictures Long Island Herf photos
