High School Football

About to finally get a chance to light up a nice Monte #2, in honor of my high school football team, the Stratford Elks of Stratford, Texas, winning the Class 1A Texas High School Football Championship game last night.

Had to go with a Monte #2 since with was their second championship in 5 years, and since they were playing in the finals for the 2nd year in a row.

There is nothing like High School football in Texas, and to see your former team win it all is something special. I will always be a proud Elk, even if fate forced me to graduate from another high school.

Congrats to the Elks, glad you got to smoke something good to honor them, hope you enjoyed it thoroughly. My High school football team made it to the state 1A Championships for the second year in a row but lost it in a nail biter. It was cool to see my old team playing football on the field of my current college though.

My high school team sucked when I went there, but in the last 10 years it has produced Lee Evans and Chris Chambers.....

The last state championship my high school team won was the one I played on...they haven't even been back to the game (or even that close) since I left...in four years of high school..my team lost 2 games..and one of them was a zone championship

My high shool team (The Trinity Shamrocks) upset our archrival (who had beat us 48-16 a month before) (there were 38,000 people in attendance) in a stunning victory to win the state 4A championships. It was their record tying 16th State title.

I wish I knew... I'm a long way from West Virginia! Last I heard, we were kicking butt.

Maybe Shadow or Bacchus have some insight? C'mon you two Martinsburg guys. Are my Cougars beating up on you again this year?

Well Oak Grove rocks we have taken CCSF all the years I went there I played three of the four. Our old coach is doing well now he coaches the SEAHAWK not like i am a big fan but I love football at college level and down. this last couple of years Oak Grove has been doing fair not to good
