Well After seeing all the Jerky porn (no puns intended there) from Hillbilly steaks I decided to order a little of the hickory jerky from him to try it out. All I can say is that it is amazing! :thumbs: It is very tender and FULL of flavor. Like he says, it is not like the bagged jerky you buy at the gas stations. This stuff is quality! The stuff is thick and very tender. You don't feel like you are ripping it apart, or your teeth for that matter. It is almost like a steak...a hillbilly steak I guess. ???

Anyway, I would tell anyone who is thinking about buying some to be careful! You might just find yourself putting in a follow-up order. This guy knows once people sample his goods they will be back. Great jerky and thanks for the extra. Not neccesary but definately appreciated. Erick is a stand up guy. Thanks again!

No doubt. I got a sampler just the other day, all of it was fantastic. The best I have ever had. I am a jerky fan and try lots of different kinds, this stuff is awesome. Doubt me? try a sampler. You cannot loose!
 
All you guys talking about his jerky are killing me. Guess I'll just have to break down and order some myself!

thanks for the kind words. I've actually been pretty overwhelmed lately. Been getting lots and lots of orders. It usually takes me a week or so as of right now to get the orders out, so please be patient guys!

Careful with the Colon Cleanser. It could damage that famous palate of yours. I've not ordered, but I've heard that HB's scale accuracy is waaaay off sometimes.

For those of you who don't know HB, that means that you sometimes get more than you expected, not less. Assume the positive, you gutter minded bastages!
 
Really good stuff but I would say that HB is the opposite of a con artist. I'm sure there is a word for that but BOTJ* will have to do.

Turkey is non-meat. Mammals are the only thing made out of meat, IMHO. (I know that this is not really accurate, nor is it the way the rest of the world looks at it, but it is the way I do...so there.)

Chickens are not animals...they are more like really fast plants. Turkeys are just bigger meaner chickens....moral problem solved.

Edit: That turkey jerky was DAYUM good!
 
Whoah, whoah, whoah, I can understand if you said for us non red meat eaters. But to say turkey isn’t meat is really an unorthodox way to put it. Besides the meat of anything is its muscle tissue. So unless you gnawing away at the bones…..
