I was in a warehouse with furniture stacked 18 feet high for the Seattle 6.8 a few years back. I know that waiting for the aftershocks feeling. Go check on your wine, then pick a bottle and a good cigar.

Dave,

Aren't the railroad tracks nearby? :sign:

I was in SF this morning................San Diego last week..............who's next?!

Stay safe and remember, DOORWAY-DOORWAY-DOORWAY!

WOW 15 secs quake from south san jose 4 secs less than the big one a few years ago (LOMA). My son got to feel his first quake and my daughter just sleep right through it. Ciagrs and wine were fine after a quick glace over them. But Wow it was a roller..

A cool map of the epicenter ... HERE

When my wife got home from work we went out and filled up the gas tanks of the cars, purchased some fresh batteries and I spent a couple hour refreshing the earthquake kits. I keep both of our vehicles equipped with earthquake survival kits, you just never know.

Don't forget the corkscrew. ;)

Know that brings an interesting debate, save the wine or the cigars?

Are you guys kidding me?! I have a corkscrew in every earthquake kit as well as another in each glove compartment. I also have matches, and a generous supply of cigars in tubos  .

Local news is reporting 30 aftershocks since last night ..... News Article

Don't want you to be that Twilight Zone guy who finds himself the lone survivor of a disaster - surrounded by his passion, a lifetime of books - only to break his glasses in the final scene.
