How did you hear about CigarPass.com?

Found it while doing a search for "Cuban cigar Authenticity" on Google. I also found several other forums but I like CP the best. The people here are great! :thumbs:
 
Took me a while to find my usual answer to this question.

Clearly, in a remote nebula, in a world many light years hence, there was small biped with a very serious headache and visions of a tattered cardboard box, (something this creature had never seen) with the words "cigarpass.com" printed neatly on the return address label. Standing 3'4" inches and covered in minklike fur it rubbed the matted hair above its' luminous upper eye and muttered, "baccy". Liking the sound of this new word it began to howl, "aaaa...baccy, aaaa...baccy, aaaa...baccy", and it was the last sound our little friend ever heard as a rare Trudgeon Bird swooped down, grasped the little fellows' hoof in its toothy beak, flipped him into the air and swallowed him whole in a single gulp. There was the sound of a resounding belch as the bird trudged away being too heavy to fly after eating, while it muttered about its ill fitting shoes.

That was the end of my first life, now I'm here. Fuggin' Trudgeon Birds.

Found Moki's 'Opus Porn' site while looking for info on "real" cigars, then found Cigar Family's message board and saw the link to here in one of Moki's posts. I read a lot of posts and was impressed, then saw Eric's 'The Cigar BB Newbie Guide' and used it as a guide to get me started on the slippery path to where I am now :)
 
Hey Rod I joined in late July after I recieved a humi for my B-day from a bud that is a member of CP (Cletus). I had been smokin with him whenever we would hang out. He would just go to his humi and pull something out and say try this. I think Cigarsarge got him involved with CP. Love what you have created here.

Was doing a google search for something about cigars...can't remember now what it was for as I've read so many posts...but found this...and still drooling over all the stuff you guys are flashing...both cigars and broads (but not those old bats with cigars...yech...enough to give one nightmares)...
 
I found this site through the likes of Ggiese and CC, they were over at cigarsmokers and said, grab the horns of a newbie sampler and you'll enjoy a nice ride.

I've been here too long to answer the question but tough crapola, I'll answer it again anyway :laugh:

I joined CigarPool in October of 2001. Over on CigarPool, members have the option to list a "Home Page" when you look at the "members and numbers" page. I clicked on someone's "Home Page" and it brought me to CigarPass in June of 2003. I had thought it was DaveWF but it was actually Misc. (Ted Oliverio, #42 & #99 on CigarPool) so blame HIM for me being here :laugh:

I just checked and he no longer has this as his "home page" over there :( , but I do as well as a few others like Cameroon4me & Geldor1 ;)
 
I heard about your site at a Yahoo Cigar Group ( thecigarshop ), that I have been a member of for about two and a half years.
