How do you gauge interest for a car sale?

As you all know, I'm thinking about selling my jeep, not for a few months, but still. How do you gauge interest with something like this? Would it be a really dick move to put it on craigslist and then when people call or email tell them you have a buyer lined up, or some other excuse, just to see how many offers you get?

If that isn't cool, how do you find out? When It comes time to sell, I'm not going to be in a position where I can just hope it sells, it'll have to be sold by a certain date.

Advice?

Jeeps sell good there is a cult like following for them. I had a 97 TJ and loved It. Would love to get another one.

Care for a lifted 97 4cyl on 32's 95,000 miles, full soft top, full bikini top/tenneau cover set up, custom front bumper with driving lights, rear bumper with tire carrier/full sized spare, alpine head unit, pioneer speakers, cb radio, rock sliders, sliding glass windows and bed-lined interior?

All in great shape, been off roaded, but never beat on?

all yours for 6500 USD :sign:

If it had a 4.0L I might be. Mine was a 97 4.0L 5 speed had 31x10.50 BFG mud terrain on it.
