Sleeping not so peacefully
Mankind is flawed. No matter how impeccable the reputation, no matter how rock solid the character, the nature of man is such that everyone will eventually stumble and let someone else down. The person of character is not one who never fails but one who makes it right when they do. The person of highest character allows the one who has fallen a degree of grace as the fallen makes sincere amends.
