Howdy from a Southern Newbie

coventrycat, thanks for your thoughts. However, Harris and I have never met in person, he didn't recommend this site to me and he isn't vouching for me. I just followed a link he posted on another board. Our only interaction has been through CF and I have just resumed participating again after a few years'absence, so I am sure he doesn't remember me.

I didn't know if he was a member here or, if he was, if his user name was the same, so I mentioned his real name becasue I knew any CF'ers here would know him if he was.

Having said that, I believe he would give me a glowing recomendation if he did know me. :cool: I look forward to becoming a member in very good standing with the community here on my own merits. :D

Ladies and Gentleman, (and I use those terms very loosely)

I've had the pleasure of smoking with Cigardawg #1 at a Louisianna Herf and an Atlanta Herf a few years ago before he disappeared off the boards. Where's Manny?

Dawg, I have a pic or two of you at the SOB herf. If you want em let me know and I'll try and dig em up. Nothing like drinking bloody mary's first thing in the morning while smoking cigars on the bayou.
 
Is the DOB in your profile correct, or is it a typo?If it is correct how long have you been smoking cigars??
 
Welcome to CP! There are a lot of great people over here and a couple of crusty ones too, but even they start to grow on you. :)

Some how I don't think the DOB in his profile is correct (just a guess mind you :whistling: )
 
I couldn't have asked for a better validation, Kenny! I would love to have a copy of the photos, especially if you could hand them to me in person whilew we smoke. I haven't heard from Manny in a few weeks, but he does travel an awful lot. When are you coming back to ATL?
