Hot...not in the conventional way though. Phoenix is hot, Texas is hot, but Florida will drench you in sweat in under a minute. 1/2 hour in the sun and you gotta change your drawers. I feel like one of those sweaty Gatorade commercials just walking to the mailbox (minus the neon sweat stains). It's always 90 degrees and it rains here for 1 hour everyday...Crazy lightning storms...here comes Hurricane season. People are selling generators on the street like crack out of fear the media has jammed into our heads. Local news stations play ominous music in the background every time they tell us this is going to be the worst hurricane season ever.

Humidity in the upwards of 90% in the middle of the day...

So, how’s your weather?

Hot as hell and humid as the Amazon.

Well not juite that bad, but it sure seems like it when your outside.

Here in the high desert it gets pretty hot but at least it's dry. It's in the mid 90's now and probably will be for the next three months or so on average. We'll get up to 100 but usually only for a few days. I usually go to Vegas in July. Now that's hot!

Too much rain lately...not the usual afternoon t'storms, but stalled fronts that bring rain all day long. Seems to be getting back to normal finally, though.

2 days ago 95+ with 60% humidity
yesterday 75 with 40%
today about the same
Tomorrow, who knows
But at least its a windy (heat, cold, rain, snow,..........)

Weather here is just shy of glorious. Highs are in the low-to-mid 70s. About 19 hours of sunshine. Just enough rain to keep things from getting too dry. Skeeters are a bother but the new Mosquito Magnet is starting to do its job. Now if only I had more time to go fishing. The trout call to me. Really, they do.

It's been weird here. We had a cold April, too much rain and a heat wave in mid-May, and most of June we've been experiencing below average temperatures and when we do get hot days, the humidity is not so bad. This week was perfect, 70s to 80s with low humidity. Today though is in the 90s and they were yakking last about how hot and opressively humid is was supposed to be today. Yeah it's hot but it's not that bad outside. I just had a friend over today to fix the central air unit that hasn't worked in two years. It's fine now, just needed a top off of R-22.

In the 90's here. Worst thing is that we have had very little rain over the last few weeks. My lawn is toast, nothing growing but weeds.

Went to sit out on the deck last night to smoke a cigar and it was still hot at 9:00PM!

It's about 90 degrees and really humid here. Add working in a kitchen in front of 8 grills all at 350-400 degrees, and you got yourself a hot day. Thats pretty how my whole summer will be. Oh well, thankfully I have air conditioning at the house.

84 and fairly humid in Elmont - again. At least today I'm downwind of the fish store on the next block as I sit here smoking a 'gar...

95 today, 98 tomorrow and 100 Wednesday. All w/ at least 70% humidity. I hate the f'ing heat.

It felt like the 100s hit early. Just walking from building to building or to/from the car it felt like standing in front of an open oven, even the wind was "hot" :angry2:

I live in Sarasota, FL, but I am in San Diego right now. San Diego is having some beautiful weather, mid 70s with a breeze, and no humidity. Sweet.

I used to live in Sarasota but moved back to Missouri (pronounced Misery this week) and thought FL was hot and sticky. MO is extremely hot and sticky this week and it is still early in the summer. During a good year it is at this point only 80-85 degrees, this week and part of last it has been 90+ everyday and some over 100. No rain, dry and sultry. We need a break in the action before the real summer of July and August.
