I just got mine yesterday. I am really liking it so far, giving it a little more time before I start tweaking it (want to make sure I am going to keep it).

Anyone else get it yet? What are your thoughts on it???

You could talk to OpusXKC about it I'm sure. If anyone will know, it will be him.

Update us when you've had chance to use it. I'm still looking for the perfect phone for me. However, I really just use my phone for email and to text my wife. I'm getting older and the vision is crapping out on me a little, so I need a bigger screen.

I am considering picking up the HTC Incredible, when/if it is released. I am on verizon though. My blackberry is nice, but i have all of 3 bbm contacts, actually 2 because one disappeared off my phone for some reason, and I've used that feature a handful of times in the last 2 years. I'm on BIS too, so its not like its a work requirement, in fact theres really no ability to even get my work emails through it, which sucks.

The HD2 looks cool though, but I don't think it can be had on a verizon network. My only concern is going ot of the country, as my storm has a sim, and so I can use other sims in it while abroad. That doesn't happen very often though, so i'm thinking i may keep the storm as a backup in case of this kind of travel, or just pickup a cheap gophone type of phone when the need arises.

Even though the HD2 is on T-Mobile, it can be unlocked and used on any network.

From what I have used so far, I like this phone better than my iPhone. There aren't very many apps yet, but I am sure that they will be coming out soon; but one thing that is really cool about the HD2 is that you can download and install custom ROMs and have the ability to totally customize your phone however you want. The much larger screen is really nice also.

Yes and no. It will work with any sim card when the phone has been unlocked. So you would be able to use your sprint sim card in the HD2. It's the same idea as having the iPhone unlocked, you can use it with any carrier as long as they use a sim card.

CDMA and GSM both use the same radio frequencies, the major difference is the speed you will see between the two.

I will say this again. I'd write a PM to OpusXKC and see what he has to say about the phone. I would be very surprised if he didn't test this phone out. If you write him, it may take a few days to respond but it should be worth the wait. He could also give insight about other mobile phones. Only way you will know is to discuss it with him. After all, he gets paid to test applications on mobile phones. I've seen some of the phones and some of them have a serious wow factor to them.
