HUMI-CARE Crystal Gel Humidification

Anybody ever use this in a coolerdoor? I'm trying to put one together and I need an inexpensive humidifying device.

I've no experience with that product but you should really consider Climmax Beads They are well worth the money and if you call Vern and tell him your a CP member he'll give you a nice discount

Same as the Drymistat sticks. Works fine.

I used the gel for a while. I couldnt keep the humidity down. It would go up to 75%.
Since I got the Climaxx beads and have had no problems with RH at all.

hmm a half pound should be more then enough for what i'm goign to do.

I'm thinking well cleaned baby food jars or a simular small jar with a wide mouth with the lid cut out just leaving a wring then cover the top with screen.

That should work fine. Vern's magic beads are the only way to go :thumbs:
