humi inside a mini fridge

Don't put your humidor in a fridge.

Find a cooler place in your home, usually this may be a basement or a cupboard.

Not sure what humidor you have, if it's wood you can put several freezer packs into something like a plastic bag (you want to prevent water getting onto your humidor) and place them around your humidor.
Have some spare and swap them out if necessary.

why dont put your humi in the fridge? mine's in a lil wine cooler and does fine...

Big difference in operating temperature between a wine cooler and a refrigerator. A refrigerator is typically around 40 degrees , whereas a wine cooler is usually at 55-60 degrees. Warmer air holds more humidity (relatively speaking), so a refrigerator acts in part like a dehumidifier.

I recall it also has to do with the mechanism of refrigeration that causes it to act in a dehumidifying fashion. I'm not sure on the differences if any. The reason I point this out is that you can buy equipment to modulate the temperature and thereby get the fridge to stay at 60-65 degrees.
