I just found out that my wife ordered me a new humidor over the internet!! She left the order form by the printer. Yes!!! Now for a reality check-I have absolutely no idea how to "run" a humidor. I have a tupidor and thought that the thingy that regulates humidity in it was a cigar itself-I'm a little wet behind the ears on this aspect of cigar collecting, so here are some basic questions:
1.)What is the temperature range that is ideal for my sticks?
2.)How often do you check your humidor?
3.)When do you begin replacing hygrometers and the like?
4.)What problems do I need to be on the look out for as time progresses?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know you veterans must be shaking your heads on this one, but please have some patience. ???
