Humidor Build Complete - Pics added of full humi 3/7/2009

Wow... there are a lot of extremely talented people that frequent this board. Of course, yourself included Tim.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I have absolutely no ability to express myself any other way than woodworking. I can't draw, can't write, can't paint, can barely print... If you ask me to draw it up first, you will get a drawing with a box on it that is probably misisng a side and cock-eye'ed. Woodworking really is a satisfying hobby and a fantastic release for me.

That looks awesome, if you are taking special 0rders let us know!!

I've actually had a number of people approach me on commissioning pieces, but I just don't have the time and I don't want to work under any deadlines. For instance, I was commissioned to build a custom mantle and it's almost going on 2 years now. All I have to do is the final fitting and install it, but finding the time to do it is difficult. I enjoy woodworking as a release from work. Commissioning custom work projects makes it lose a little bit of its fun.

Now that the Avallo has been running a few days and the humidity has stabilized, here are some pictures of it filled:

I'd love to get into woodworking and I will some day, I just need to get the necessary tools and take the time. I'm sure my OCD attention to detail would help me out.

I wouldn't be very good at working with a timeline either.

Humidor looks awesome!

That's a beautiful piece of craftmanship, you are a true artist and it shows in your work........ :)
