My partner has hinted he would like a humidor for christmas!! I don't know where to start can someone give me some tips on what I need to look for or any advice that would be helpful, thanks.

You'd need to be a lot more specific about him.

1. Is he new to smoking
2. How much does he smoke
3. Does he have one now
4. How many does he have stored now
5. How much are you looking to spend
6. Take a look around the humidor area

You may want to go to a local cigar/tobacconist in your area....I'm not familiar with what can be purchased in Scotland.

I do know that you can't go wrong with a nice Diamond Crown humidor!
