Solid robusto looking cigar.
1/3: Mild and yet medium at the same time. Can this happen? It is happening. Roasted nuts black pepper nutmeg. Cardboard too.
2/3: Cardboard. The cgar has made up its mind and is now medium minus. Muted pepper and sweetness. The smell of freshly cut lemon.
3/3: Fresh floral notes. Little bit of pepper.
Really good. l like it.4A737328-7BD8-4679-B6A6-26B8EB874F2A.jpeg

I love, love this cigar but mine don't taste like lemons or flowers, just nice tobacco flavors is all and great for those who dislike strong cigars having so much spice!

I cant agree. This smoke is a favorite, but taste is nothing like what is said here. A little mild side for sure, earthy yes, nutmeg, give me a break. great smoke with no harsh taste, what some call spice. Great smoke for those prefer a light cigar.

Remember taste is subjective, and everyone has a different pallet

Thanks for the review, I had forgotten that I like these!

I remember smoking one of these in the past and it being too mild for my tastes.

How would you describe the flavor notes beyond mild and earthy? I’d be interested in revisiting this cigar after I hear your thoughts and see if my experience is similar.

Juan, in all respect to everyone, and having smoked cigars for 30 years, saying cigars taste like everything in my wife's kitchen is sort of a joke and the same sales pitch we get from the wine salesman. Cigars are weed, call it a plant if we wish, it tastes of earthy things, we like tobbaco, to smell the odor of smoke, the pleasing sensations of a little nicotine..Having this discussion with over 100 or more at my local cigar lounge, we all are in agreement, there ain't no chocolate, nutmeg, vanilla or anything else coming from our cigars..so perhaps it sells cigars to some, I think it just hype..The espernay box pressed is mild to me, has great construction feeling good on my palatte and a favorite along with hemingways. We taste the wrapper, not so much the body. Great wrappers is what i search for. I find most NC to be harsh, what some call spice and seldom do I purchase them preferring Dominican cigars. Have a great day.

Well, as someone who has smoked cigars for 20 years, I disagree with you. People get all sorts of weird flavor notes from chats that over lap with other flavors they encounter in other items.
but since you felt compelled to reopen a conversation that was 18 months old, I have to ask, if all you get from the rolled up weed you refer to as a cigar, is earth and odor, what is it about cigars that brings you enjoyment?

We are all entitled to our opinions, and in most instances I don’t share mine unless asked to, but I feel compelled to share mine right now… my opinion is that your opinion is dumb… have a great day.

Ranchand, in all respect to you and everyone, and having smoked cigars for 28 years, saying you prefer Dominican cigars is a joke. We all know that Dominican cigars suck.

...and for goodness sake @ranchand its E P E R N A Y. Epernay. There ain't no "s" in it anywheres.

I swear you're trolling the grammar nazis on purpose...
