if you're out somewhere and there's a woman who is absolutely beautiful who'd you'd love to talk to, do you think to yourself, "If she wanted to talk to me she would come and sit down at my table and strike up a conversation."

I'd go up and get a big ol' handful of tit and then say hello.. but that's just me.....

right on! it would just be silly to pass up such an opportunity

The first time I met Joey Ramone was at a radio station. He was already late for an interview, and dopey old me was the only person in the parking lot (besides my girlfriend), yet he still came over and hung out with me for a while chatting and signing a couple things until his manager told him they had to get inside after about 5 or 10 minutes. They gave me a bunch of postcards from the new album, and made mention of the 'crowd outside' on the air :p

He wanted to hang out, and that was the coolest thing a person could ask for when meeting one of his idols.

The next time I ran into him was at a concert. He was sitting at the bar, and my girlfriend (different one) kept nudging me to go talk to him. I just kept saying no - he's here to enjoy a few drinks and watch the band (which, ironically enough was The Remains - AKA the remains of the Ramones: Marky, Dee Dee, Dee Dee's wife, and C Jay). If he got up and walked by I would have said something, he was one of the most approachable people and friends with most of the people in the crowd to begin with, but as long as he's sitting there not talking to anyone I wasn't going to bother him. The crowd kept egging him on to go on stage and sing a few songs, but he refused to steal the spotlight from his former band mates, which made it even cooler.
