Cameroon wrapped cigars in my truck in the winter! OK, by now I gotta learn my lesson that these sticks just don't like the cold, another blowout this morning on the way to work. Guess I gotta stick to maduros in the winter while driving.
 
I don't know if its' really a Fuente problem so much as it is a Cameroon problem. While I havn't had as much personal experiance with other Cameroons, I see La Auroras' wrappers chipping off much more frequently in their boxes, and whenever I smoke a Hemmingway or Peterson (the only two Cameroons I smoke regularly) I don't have a problem, assuming good storage and that I'm smoking them at room temperature.
 
So you're giving up on Cammies or Fuente?

If you're giving up on Fuente, I can dispose for you :)
 
Easy Wyatt....only giving up on them in the winter in my truck! I'll still enjoy the hell out of them indoors in the winter and in the summer! :thumbs:
 
Wade, your Topic title caught my attention for a minute I thought there was going to be some more "Fuente bashing" that seems to be showing up lately. Although I am sorry to hear your smokes are not cooperating in the extreme weather, I am glad to hear that you are not walking away from the Fuentes. :D

Down with Fuente! In protest, tonite I will burn the Fuente family in effigy! One at a time, with a nice cup of coffee, after a good dinner. The long, tubular effigys will say 'fuente' right on the label...

Turn off the heater and try again without the blast of dry hot air. I've seen you Green Bay fans out there without shirts in blizzards. Don't give me the "but it's cold" sob story. :p

LOL, I usually have the heat on the floor, nothing coming out of the dash vents, seems to me the smoke clears the truck easier that way. Either way, I'll just save the cammies for warmer more humid weather.
