I made some cigar band coasters today

The coaster is a photo coaster. There is a piece of glass on top of the bands. I applied glue to the back of the bands and put them on a index card. The index card slides in the back of the coaster.

I got them at Target. Pretty much any store sells photo coasters. I am sure a store like Bed, Bath, Beyond would have them as well.

Very, very nice indeed! Your composition and design are great. I've been experimenting with making cigar band plates, bowls and ashtrays such as people used to do back in the '20's and '30's but hadn't thoought of the coaster idea. This is not only an artistic use of these beautiful bands but a practical one as well. Well done! :thumbs:
