I think the operative word in my opening statement was "mobile" in regard to socializing....

I voted no because I read the question as "do I post throughout the day". I use facebook to keep up with friends. Today was a good example of FB reminding me today was a friend's birthday. Other than a week in CA last month, I hadn't seen him in 2 years. I almost never post an update there though, maybe one a week at most. Even then it is more to spread the word about going to a bar later.
