We owe so much to the men of that generation... my thanks to them all.

It was their Legacy that gave me something to uphold!

My father who is 93 wasn't there on D-day, he didn't get to France until September, but we have a phone call each year.

I did. Every year I post Eisenhower's proclamation to the troops on Facebook.

Today is also the 75th anniversary of the ending of the Battle of Midway. Three-quarters of a century ago today, in a matter of five minutes, momentum of the War in the Pacific started to shift as the Japanese lost the Kaga, Akagi, Horyu, and Shoryu -- four of six aircraft carriers that took part in the attack on Pearl Harbor a day shy of half a year earlier.

Today at the museum we held Midway Youth Day, educating kids from 6th-9th grade on this critical event in history.

I remembered. It's also my anniversary so I have to remember!
