I seem to have lost a thread.

I went to the sports forum to post an update to the players in my NHL Playoff contest, and could not for the life of me, find the thread. I used search with various phrases, and my eyes to scroll through a years worth of posts. Am I missing something or is it really gone? If it is, how do we get it back?

Well, that makes perfect sense then. Weird, I used search, but maybe just for the sports forum.
