It was the JR Alternative to LGC Wavell Maduro. This was a fun smoke for seventy-five cents. Easy draw, lots of smoke, medium bodied. Alts tend to get a bum rap on the boards, but they can really stretch your cigar budget.

I think they're a great value but my problem is they all taste the same.

If it's an alledgted Alternative to an Excalibur #1 maduro, it tastes like a JR Alternate, if it's an alledged Alternative to a LGC Wavell maduro, it tastes like a JR Alternative.
