Somewhere, out there.
It got up to a balmy 42 degrees here today. 20-30 mph winds, rain and sleet. We're expecting anywhere from a trace to 1 inch of snow to fall over night tonight and into tomorrow. More 20-30 mph winds tomorrow and temps in the low 40s. The fishing season opener is tomorrow at midnight and there will be thousands of people out on the lakes freezing their arses off despite the small craft advisory that is in place.

To top it all off they raised the gas price today about 15 cents to get the fisherman and their families on the way to their cabins.

I hate this time of year! :(

Well I don't know about all that snowing nonsense but i hear ya on the cold windy rain! I'm sick of it.....bring the temperature to where it should be damnit!

I feel ya man. Got a high of about 43 today, with rain and windy weather. Supposed to be raining for the next 5 or so days. Glad I have a heated enclosed deck to smoke in :D

I have lots of family up in that area; Bemidji, Warroad, Thief River Falls and so on.
Spring in the "great white north" does not come until around July or August...

Good luck and stay warm.

High 70's to low 80's for a couple of weeks now. Finally get to see what the golf course looks like.

Have not been there in many years but one of my favorite places on earth is the area around Ely Minn.

No snow on the ground today, but it was sure coming down for awhile. Some of the flakes were as big as my 3 year old's fist!

Don't get me wrong, it is absolutely beautiful here, when the weather cooperates. We can have 65 and sunny one day (last Saturday) and 40 degrees with cold rain the next (last Sunday). 3 years ago it was 35 degrees and windy on the 4th of July.

When it is nice, it sure is nice. But when it's bad it doesn't get much worse. One of the joys of living up here near the big lake (Superior).

At least we hardly ever see those triple digits. I can't deal with that!
