Icon Cigars

I was looking at these a week or so ago, and price-wise it looks ok for a daily smoke. Wanted to see if anyone has tried them and what your thoughts are. I kinda wanna try one, so I may go for it.

I cruised search and didn't see anything.

That one i've had. It's not a terrible cigar although once again it fails to live up to the CI hype. I guess at that price it would be a pretty good buy though. I got mine off c-bid.

I've had the Twain, it was pretty decent. A step below a weekend treat, but O.K. I think they're worth the price.

I am becoming a Felipe Gregorio fan, I like the Icon... but the Power is awesome! :thumbs:

Icon looks like a boutique cigar produced for CI. I've really developed a distaste for CI's descriptions. It reminds me of the guy who is trying to sell you a piece of shit car. However, the Felipe Gregorio line has a good rep. At the price, it might be worth a try. So long as you're in the gutter, take a look at the Fumas. A google will take you to Thompson's, but also to one I've never heard of called get-my-cigars.com.

I've got a Twain in the humidor. I'll light it up when I get home today and let you know how it goes.

Ok I'm almost done with the Twain. Not great but not too bad, puts out alot of smoke. Personally I'm not going out of my way to get some, probably stick with Padron 2000's for a cigar in that price range.

But you may like them more than I, you never know.
