Apparently there is an issue with users who cannot log into CP while using IE8. I'm looking into the cause and will correct it as soon as possible.

Turns out this is an issue with IE8, no surprise there. The work around is to clear out your cookies, and then try relogging back into CP. Be sure to click the COMPATIBILITY MODE icon when it comes up, and then you'll be able to login.

I HIGHLY recommending droping IE and using either FireFox or Chrome.

DoD won't let me install FireFox at work, but then they are still in IE7...
I used to use PortableFirefox off a USB thumb drive, but that's not allowed anymore. Some proxies will filter/block on user-agent, too, but that's easily changed in Firefox. If you can download it, it may work for you, though. :)

We can't run any version of an install tool on DoD computers. No admin rights what so ever. Heck, the DoD has figured out ways to stop some executables from running, so setting up emulators won't work.

And we aren't allowed to put thumbdrives in DoD computers either.

Yeah, I know. ;) This doesn't install at all, though. Just double-click and run. Probably best to avoid, but it may useful for other things. I'd carry a copy of that and PortableThunderbird (email client) on a thumb drive and use that on the MWR computers to check my mail, save my favorites, have tabs, etc. :)

I use Chrome primarily at home but here in the office the company system is designed entirely around IE and is unreliable running anything else :(
