The Green Monkey
Brap-brap
I normally don't post crap like this, and I hope it doesn't come off like spam or Nigerian promises, but figured with the holidays coming up that I might as well.
Igive.com is an outfit that has a whole ton of charities and non-profits that they're associated with, and they've got an arrangement with an equally huge pile of online merchants (even ebay) who will donate a percentage of your purchase total to the organization of your choice.
It's really easy to use. All you have to do is sign up, pick your cause (ours is the greyhound adoption group we got our dogs from) and then remember to go to Igive's site first and then navigate to the vendor from there so that the purchase is marked as coming from Igive so that your cause will get their cut. Unfortunately, they really don't have much to offer in the way of cigars or cigar accessories other than some random Chinese junk from Buy.com.
Check it out. It's a really easy way to donate someone else's money to whatever cause you support. I've raised about $40 for our group through the past year or two that I've been using it. It isn't a ton, and it would be more if I'd remember to check there before making all my purchases but I don't want to install their toolbar.
Every little bit helps...
