As a complete noob to both the enjoyment of cigars and to CP I wanted to say thanks for the stuff I have been learning.
I hit the local shop on my way home today to pick up a couple of the suggested cigars I have been given. They did not have any of the Oliva G's in stock that I could find, not to say they weren't their I just couldn't locate them and the owner was busy. So, I went to the other side of the humidor and found the RyJ Bullies that Boar recommended; grabbed three and then hit the road. Two lights later I made a dash into Wally World and picked up a Ronson Jet Lite that I found talked about in another thread. For a sub $3.00 lighter all I can say is Wow!!!! The SOB damn near burned my finger in the process of lighting my cigar, think it would be wise to turn down the flame just a tad on that one.
I did not break out in a cold sweat with this cigar as I did with the Padron 7000 maduro so that's a plus... good thing too as I was driving.
Last thing, what exactly is a "yardgar" I have been searching for that after seeing it used but all I have done is come up with three definitions of my own based on where I read it:
1) Something that you get from following rover around, picking up his crap, wrapping something around it and smoking it ala Cheech & Chong.
2) Something that your wife refuses to allow you to smoke indoors.
3) A smokable though inexpensive cigar something similar to a "Blue Light Special" or maybe a "Generic" cigar.
Okay back in my hole.
