like smoking mold.

At my German cigar forum there was another "Is it mold or plume?" thread posted today, and the spots are on the foot of the cigar and they are REALLY REALLY FUZZY!

And 5 out of 8 guys told him its Plume.

I give up.

They might know a hell of a lot about beer but our Teutonic BOTLs don't know jack about mold.

Makes me glad that MOST Germans are too big of tightwads to bomb people or do passes, I'd be scared about what I'd find in the box.

*edit* To change something I said that was proven wrong by Frank V. , thanks again!

Zee Germans can be a strange bunch.
What do they know of cigars?
...they know Beer!

C&G... thinking of Stuttgarter Hofbrau Frulingsfest bier

It's one thing to be ignorant on a particular topic; we're all learning every day in life. But to actively go out of your way to stubbornly remain ignorant is a particularly distasteful trait, IMHO.

I agree with you 100% Andrew, and of course our favorite D-bag is in there telling the guy "Its 100% plume! Wanna see my laboratory reports from my cigars?"

But I just linked them to your site, I doubt it will change any of the real dumb-asses minds but maybe I'll save at least one person from smoking mold.

those damn germans

hey Wurm, wo bist du her, ich bin aus nuernberg und seid 12 jahren in Los angeles.
don't wanna offend anyone by typing german, just saying hi to Wurm

I'm American aber ich habe die letzten 20 jähre in der Oberpfalz gewohnt...

I love Nürnberg, its hands down my favorite city in Germany, I'm also a Club fan

LOl both of us are ex soldiers and I mostly use the internet in English and shawn uses English as well on the boards. Although his German is perfect.

Loved Frankfurt and the Germans sure do know their beer!

the Club stadium is about 3 minutes from my house. i am not into sports, but hey.
funny how life works out isn't it. Oberpfalz is nice, but kudos to nuernberg, a fine city.

Hey Shawn,
I read the thread over there and it was in fact much ado about nothing!
That guy really panicked about his cigars....

Please be asured that not all Germans are that weird! :D

FRANK!!! SERVUS!!!

This is one of the good ones, Gentlemen!

Now head over to the Introductions Forum and say hi.

BTW your box arrived yesterday, thanks for the great cigars, I have only had one of them before and its one of my favorites!

I decided to drop a few extra sticks into my end, all cigars I like and you can't get in Germany very easily. I'll send you the details per email when I get home tonight.

Welcome to Cigar Pass,

Shawn

*edit* BTW did you notice that the idiot who supposedly sent his cigars to the laboratory to be checked for mold is now telling everyone else that mold is ok to smoke as long as its white? Next time I'm in Berlin I think I'm going to find him and smack him in the back of the head.

""ein kleiner schlag am hinterkopf verhilft das denkvermögen" :sign:

LOL Shawn! Better not smack that guy on his head, otherwise it may cave in!
After all smokin´ the mold is the most effective way of getting rid of it.... ;)

Great thing we started our own little Cigar Pass! It´s a pity that joining the fun here would be
too difficult due to shipping and taxes. :(

I´m looking forward to the good stuff!

Frank
