No shortage of bourbon, just a shortage of OLD bourbon. The really old stuff before 1998 was almost all exported but now there is the internal market too that uses it up too. It will cycle around again at some point and there will be stockpiles of old bourbon in warehouses in 20- 25 years.

Too bad, that is at the outside edge of my life expectancy, therefore I would encourage the world to quit drinking bourbon now!
