I was looking at my ticket stub for the Police Zenyatta Mondatta tour of 1980 (opening act XTC) and I paid $9.75 for a floor seat in Seattle. My Virgin Fest ticket came out to $117.05. Now I don't know about you but I'm not making 12 times what I did in 1980. And the business folks wonder why people don't go to as many concerts as they used too.
My all time best was seeing The James Gang at the Spectrum in Philly in 1969. I was third in line at the ticket office and bought the ENTIRE "A" section of 200 seats @ $5 each. Took them back to my High School (about 1400 students at the time) and sold them for $6 right outta my locker
