:angry2: Greetings! Internet-related pet peeves. Please tell us what yours is. You are filling-out an important e-mail form on a business institution's website. Suddenly, after just a few short minutes, this message flashes on the screen: "You have been timed-out. Please log back in." You then discover that you are unable to successfully send the e-mail form because you have been timed-out. You then have to do like Richard Dawson used to say on "Family Feud", which is "try again!" This has happened to me more times than I care to think about. Regards, knightlaird

just trying to read what ppl tipe is hard. i no this is no gramer forum but if u all could have some1 learn you how to type that would be gr8.

Perhaps poor spelling and grammar is something Dan Quayle implemented when he invented the internets. I'm no spelling nazi, but sometimes I can't even understand what someone is trying to say...

That is pretty much my only one also. I'm no English teacher, but I at least try to be correct in my spelling and grammar.

Repost Nazis

Thats about it.

Search Nazis.

I search before I post just about anything but sometimes I want a fresh opinion and I hate when some a-hole comes in with a "click me" link to the search page. If you don't want to be part of the topic then move on.

Bad grammar. I check what I type, and especially if I'm making eg. a new topic or a post on a forum, I try to divide my text logically into paragraphs and check my own grammar. Of course there are those who don't know the language well enough, but some simple rules still apply, like starting a sentence with a capital letter. Shame on those who are too lazy to do this!

There are countless other things that annoy me on the internet. All of those already mentioned are on my list.

Indiscriminate forwarding of urban-freaking-legends. MAIL THIS TO EVERYONE YOU BLOODY KNOW!!!!!!!!!

run on "paragraphs" with abso-freakin'-lutely no paragraph breaks no capitalization no punctuation and taking forever and a day to get to the damn point if there's even a damn point plus they jump from thought to thought within the paragraph sticking to no cohesive structure expecting you to do all the doo-dah work to figure out what they mean like it was wart-on-your-face obivious

Cripes, where do I begin.

1) "computer muscles" due to the anonymity of people on the Internet. Met face to face, most are paper tigers.

2) flared emotions to implied meanings of type-written word. If people took a fraction of a second to read what is posted and then consider that they are reading their own interpretation into the email, there would be less knee jerk reactionism (yeah-huh? wishful thinking!).

3) (as stated before) Search nazis who feel they have to police others posts with the beleagured "hey, search first" battle-cries versus actually being constructive in the conversation (versus this form of "destructive" behavior). Simple thought here... if you (a) don't like the fact that the topic is posted yet again, (b) truly wish to create a nurturing environment for all, and © don't wish to answer again, excercise your right to MOVE THE F*CK ON!! :angry2:

I have more but I'll leave it at just those 3 ....

People who double post :p

All the good-luck and prayer or you will be paid to forward this E-mail. The fact that when you search for something you get ten hit all from the same company which is not what you want in the first place. No matter what kind of search you do you will get a hit from some porn site.
