Iowa Pheasant Hunting

Made a trip back up to the ole stomping grounds this last weekend for the opening of pheasant season. Got a chance to suprise my dad and hang out with some friends, as well as see the family, etc.

This is what happens when you let a combine lose a bearing and start a fire while in the field and heavy winds.

This is Marathon, Iowa. Majority of my family had roots here in my dad's time. Lots of farmers in the family etc. I have a lot of good memories of this place.

Near my home. This place is a huge Wind farm type place. I think there are like 300 or so of these.

No, I actually got 6. I think the whole group finished with like 12 or so.

This picture was takend kind of unexpectedly. We had a flat tire in one of the vans and decided to do a group shot. Just had the one bird at the time.
