IPad - WTF?

Well, the difference, of course, is that the screen IS the computer. The whole thing. Sleek and slick.

You can get as ginormous a monitor as your heart desires if you get one of the Apple towers, but geeeez . . . I'm only sitting two feet away! :laugh:

I just want the bigger screen because I've been doing a lot of Hulu and Netflix watching on mine. Plus the porn will be almost life sized! ;)

Nah, if you went in there and took some time with a floor model and passed on it, then you've pretty much made a good decision. That's what you did right?

As I said, it's half useless without the pricey 3G feature anyway.

I think this article is a balanced evaluation of the iPad. I don't have one, so I can't be 100% sure, but it seems evenhanded.

That can be said of all apple products.
 
I'm not a Windows hater, but I do own Mac products, just because I got tired of the inadequate and failing operating systems that come with every Microsoft product.

As for the Ipad? I see it's functionality, and it obviously has a demand, based on the hype/sales. I personally haven't seen enough yet to warrant buying one, but I can certainly understand its function.

I'll look at getting one after they add a few more options and fix a few bugs. As of right now, it's not worth it to me.
 
I heard the news this morning and there was a teen who purchased one. As soon he took it out of the box in front of his friends, he took a bat to it. I dont agree pissing away 500, but I would not stop him. AHFL. just another POS
