...and if it is mold, which im kinda guessing it is, what are the proper steps to take? it brushes off pretty easily and its just at the cap. also this is the only box that has this. is it ok to smoke after i brush it off? or should i sacrafice them so the mold doesnt carry to other boxes?

thanks in advance.

Mold... brush it off and smoke it. :)

Ditto that! I would brush them all off & put them in a dryer environment for awhile to see if that helps to keep it from coming back.

Then I would smoke a couple and send 1 or 2 to the contributors to this thread.

Brush off and smoke em
You may want to store them seperate from your other cigars
Keep the mold out of your humi ;)

If you just got these in, I'd return them. If you have had them in inventory, then I'd seperate them from your other cigars and smoke these on a first basis.
