Somewhere, out there.
In the past I have revealed my love for The Andy Griffith Show. I thought it would be fun to put together a little trivia game about the show. You get a point for each correct answer, no partial credit. If there is a tie, I'll post a tie breaker. One chance, no edits.

Deadline for answers is noon Central Time, Saturday January 5, 2008.

The winner will receive what may or may not be a fabulous prize.

1. What was the Taylor’s phone number?

2. Before moving into Mrs. Mendelbright’s boarding house, what was Barney’s street address?

3. Andy was a pitcher on the Mayberry Union High School baseball team. For what pitch was he famous?

4. How many hatfulls of water does it take to fill the Darling’s truck?

5. Which character is in almost every episode of The Andy Griffith Show but never seen?

6. From whom did Andy buy the Taylor house?

7. What was the name of Mayberry Union High’s 1945 yearbook?

8. What is the proper title of "good ol’ 14A"?

9. For what was Helen Crump arrested while a college student?

10. What are the posted operating hours of Wally’s Service Station?

11. Why did Mayberry once have the baldest cats in the county?

12. Andy once talked about marriage with his high school sweetheart. What was her name?

13. Who wrote the following and to whom was it written? “_______ , beloved, the tears on my pillow bespeak the pain that is in my heart.”

Good luck!

All I can say is...

DAMN! :0

I used to watch this show as a kid and can't answer any of those.

Wow, I tried searching for some of the answers and couldn't even get close. Too bad one of my friends isn't around (she's a fanatic for the show that could probably answer these without even having to think about it for long). Good luck to anyone that can get these right!

D

I also googled them and used a wiki and could find nothing.

edited for googled, is that even a word? I'm sure it's made the dictionary by now.
