I had to laugh, I'll admit, I fell for it. Under "Forthcoming Calendar Events within the next 5 days" I see something titled "It's soon" so I click on it.

I get directed to a link that says:

"24 hours until AVB's birthday"

January 26th is the birthday of my best friend in college who I'm still in touch with on a regular basis more than 20 years later. We always call each other on our respective birthdays every year. I noticed when AVB joined here, he had the same birthday. January 26th is also "Austrailia Day" which is like their Fourth of July.

In Connecticut, January 26, 2005 will mark the first time in 45 years that Connecticut will actually execute someone on death row :0 serial killer Micahel Ross who raped and murdered 8 women that we know of and probably as many as 20 back in the 1980's :0 (sorry to put a damper on things there AVB).
