Just need some opinions on whether I stop by this place on the way home?
Or should I just stick to my local B&M

There is one in the Detroit Area that I stop by quite freqently. I would say YES!!!

Which location will you be stopping at? There are three in N.C.

JR Cigars has the largest selection at their B&M stores than any other shop I have been to. They carry more brands in their shops than the majority of other stores. Unless you can find a sale at another store, they're prices are better than most tobacconists.

When ever I drive and see a cigar store, my car pulls in automatically. It can't control itself at all. I have actually considered getting rid of the car because of that problem.

I think its the one at exit 79. I think Ill stop just for the hell of it

Been there a few times since it is only about 30 miles from my house. Not a bad shop, decent selection of mid level sticks and they have some premiums. I was kinda disappointed at the lack of some brands altogether (like LFD) but they will have the same stuff you see on the website and usaully have a few good deals on any given day. The back of the shop has two tables devoted to mixed samplers that are usually decent deals. If you have never been to a J&R, expect a flea market type atmosphere with a ton of crap. At that location (exit 79 on 95 in NC) the cigar section is right of center at the very back of the store behind the "book" section.

I believe the "flea market" comment is referring to the fact that JR stores in NC are also outlet type stores that sell many other things besides cigars. Clothing, jewelry, perfume and cosmetics and books are several of the additional items they sell.

If you've got the S.O. with you, turn her loose in the outlet sections of the store. :D

Great guys,

The S. O. gave me 30 minutes. I ended up just buying a box of #6 LA GLORIA CUBANA SERIE R. (Maduro) This will be my first atempt to age/Rest Sticks. I really was looking for OPUS X.. They looked at me like I was crazy

They don't really carry any super-premiums. However, I've picked up a nice selection of premiums there and some of thier house brand make for decent yard-gars too.
