Haha!
Thanks for all the wonderfull comments guys, sorry it took me so long to get back to you all (I have been in the hospital keeping Jade and her Mum company).
Our first one had that huge mop of hair as well, but she lost a lot of it when she had to go in a full body cast because of her bad hips. It is actually a new experience having a calm, healthy baby (our first had managed to get both her shoulders stuck, and had her right arm broken, as well as the left collarbone, nerve damage and a bad hip). It was seven months before our first little girl was recovered, so we didn't really get to experience all the usual newborn things... but now we can, and it is great to be able to do so.
Jade's Mum is super tough, and is already walking around and cracking jokes. Must be the Irish in her
. I think we might stop at two though... I don't want to see her going through all that pain again (and besides, family passes are two adults, two kids
).
We get to go home on Sunday morning, to be a family of four for the first time. I am really looking forward to it. The good thing about your second child is that you don't have the first-time jitters, and can really enjoy it all.
Thanks again for all the well-wishes.
