Going to see them in Tally tonight, should be a good show. BTW, anyone ever been to The Beta Bar in Tally, wondering if i could fire up a stick there...

I've got a Mofro album...I actually heard them on NPR! Gotta love them homestate bands! Remember Molly Hatchet?

I found them on Launchcast (Yahoo's internet radio) and from there found Gov't Mule.

From Gov't Mule look for Derek Trucks!
A little further north! :D

Danny Joe Brown grew up 15 miles from me, but not sure if he's still there...

Virginia Coalition opened for Mofro, they're worth listening to, great live. Now if you wanna go hard core Southern rock, check out Drive by Truckers, they take a little bit to get used to, but now they're one of my favorites.

JJ Grey is one of the best musicians i've ever seen, he's definitely worth going to see

Wow, saw Mofro again last night, they get better and better, JJ Grey is incredible, mas is the whole band. If they are coming near you, definitely worth seeing, if you like swamp rock / blues / front porch soul.
