JR Ultimates?

Yea, I'd like to know to. Those are some cheap smokes.. JR is pretty good to work with, great prices on Punch cigars, they're half what they are at my smoke shop.

I've had a JR Ult. Cab. # 40.
It had about two years age on it... IT WAS GOOD!!! :thumbs:

I really hate to think how many years I've been smoking JR Ultimates. I always keep plenty of the Petit Corona, Principales and the Belicoso Cabinet all in Oscuro in stock. Excellent cigars at a good price, especially when JR puts them on sale. :thumbs:

The ultimates are one of my go-to yard/golf gars. I buy a cab or two a year, and very rarely smoke any out of them until they have a minumum of one additional year on them. The Oscuro Belicoso is one of my favorites. For the money, with some age, I recommend them very highly.

Had one yesterday, as a matter of fact. It was my first. I did notice the ash hung on for well over 2 inches and the draw was exceptional. The burn was perfectly even. The taste started out harsh but mellowed out after 1/2 through...I found it had a hint of roasted coffee beans and a tad of chocolate. All in all I gave it a 7 out of 10.

Thanks for the replies. With each catelog JR sends I'm eyeballing these but never tried them. Sounds like they're worth a shot.

I have had a few and am aging a box of #40, very good smoke for the price.

JR Ult PC in Oscuro are my 'driving to work' smoke. Can't beat the price especially when a deal is running.

You can always go for a fiver of these(from catalog)... Tried these but was not really impressed. You can find better taste for the same money. But you need to try them nevertheless... maybe that is your cup of tea...
